Profile:
November 1977: Born in Tokyo
March 2001: Graduated from the Theatrical Division of the
Faculty of the Arts, Nihon University
Began to act as a first year high school student. Choreographed
two stage performances as a university student (with one of them
being in a piece he authored). Both performances received good
reviews.
February 2002: Became apprentice to Sawato Midori and made
his first appearance that month.
August 2002: Debuted in the role of an enkashi*
under the guidance of Utaji Fukuoka
*Note: Enkashi were comical street performers
who sang satirical songs on street corners during the Meiji and
Taisho eras.

films and foreign films to animation and news films.
